Paul instructs the church that leaders are more like waiters at a restaurant, contractors building a home, masters of a house, or fathers. This was an important message for the church in Corinth, and it is an essential message for us today. Leadership is about serving God’s people and managing God’s resources, not being served and hoarding resources for personal wealth.
