In this message, Pastor Marshall teaches from Mark 7. In these verses, Jesus confronts the Pharisees about replacing God’s commandments with man’s tradition. This practice was popular at the time of Jesus and it is still popular today. Many Christians have a difficult time discerning the difference between authentic Biblical obedience and traditions passed down by men. It is important to ask the Holy Spirit to examine our hearts and expose our allegiance to tradition because we can’t be faithful to traditions and faithful to God at the same time.
