A Worshiping Church

This series is about understanding the deep roots we have in musical worship as Christians. Singing to God has always been a part of our faith, but when David brought the ark of the covenant back to Jerusalem, he established certain Levite priests as full-time worship leaders. This created a culture of worship music in Israel, and it continued into the early church. We sing on Sundays because of the heritage of worship that came before us. This series covers the history of worship music in Israel, the early church, the modern church, and what worship will look like in eternity.
